ブラジルは６日から新型コロナウイルスの累計の感染者数と死者数の公表を取りやめた。ボルソナロ大統領は同国が新型コロナの新たな中心地となった現状への不快感を募らせている。

　　同国が６日に公表した直近24時間の新型コロナ感染症（ＣＯＶＩＤ１９）による死者は904人、新規感染者は２万7075人だった。４日のデータでブラジルの累計死者数はイタリアを上回っていた。

　　６日から同国保健省ウェブサイトに掲載される新型コロナ関連データは、直近の24時間の感染者・死者数などに限られ、累計と致死率は削除された。これまでは新規感染者・死者を含む日付と地域ごとの数値が掲載されていた。

　　４月に更迭されたマンデッタ元保健相は６日のウェブキャストで、「保健の観点からはこれは悲劇だ」と発言。「情報を開示しなければ国家による害の方が新型コロナよりも大きくなる」と非難した。

Brazil has ceased to announce the cumulative number of new coronavirus infections and deaths from the 6th. President Bolsonaro has exacerbated the current situation in which the country has become the new center of the new Corona.
