I still remember the simple words. "Did you study?" Afghanistan visited the late Dr. Tetsu Nakamura, who is digging an aqueduct six years ago. On the first day of the interview, when I asked a simple question about the water intake facility, Mr. Nakamura replied. I was confused by the difference from the gentle expression that I show in Japan.

The river Kunar was flowing gently in front of me. I've come this far, but that's not the case. Excuse me, I thought so by putting up a question and a scholarship on the shelf. I intended to devote myself to preparations for a month, even if it was a stick-on blade, and read books, reports, and related books. I asked the same question the next morning, showing what seemed to be a sketch of the area around the site that I drew in the dormitory that night. "I'm becoming more like a newspaper reporter," Nodded Mr. Nakamura.

After that, he took time for two weeks and many nights to answer any questions. "I want to create witnesses and witnesses on the ground" to convey the business. I don't know how many times I was interviewed until about 10 days before I died after returning to Japan.

"Good morning teacher". On the 1st, the secretariat of the "Peshwarkai" in a room of an apartment in Fukuoka City. A volunteer woman bowed to Mr. Nakamura's deceased and started work. At the meeting that I have been working with Mr. Nakamura, I continue to do steady work such as sending newsletters and helping with related events.

The circle of support expands. A 51-year-old female corporate officer in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, has been helping the association as a volunteer since February. Immediately after the news, some friends talked about their respect for Mr. Nakamura. "Even if I don't usually talk about it, I think that a lot of people are actually sympathizing with it," he said.

The amount of purified goods collected from all over the country last year was the second highest in the past after 2001, when the local area was noticed by the Afghan air bombing by the US military. There are also a series of attempts to convey achievements in various places such as schools and libraries. Many people who support the business, with or without acquaintances in their lifetime, have found their own roles and are taking action.

Mr. Nakamura left behind not only the irrigation canals and clinics built in the war-torn area. The stories of the staff and former workers of the group featured in the series had something in common. "Anyway, I'll decide what I can't do" "Just do what's in front of me" "Illuminate a corner". Mr. Nakamura's words, which they still support, have the same purpose, only the wording is different.

In the Ganberi Desert, which was the end point of the irrigation canal that began to be built in 2003, tree planting continued in the heat of 50 degrees Celsius. The poem that Mr. Nakamura wrote is as follows. "No matter what, just watering." No matter if you are praised or scorned, if anyone leaves or falls, if you are disturbed or cooperated. "Just watering" no matter who says what.

Mr. Nakamura, who praises President Afghan as "the bravest man" and encourages people even after his death. In his book, "The Greatest Relics for posterity," Kanzo Uchimura described the greatest legacy to be left for the people who follow him as "a brave life." The appearance of those who are trying to carry on their beliefs proves that it was exactly the way they lived.
