Sometimes I see such innovations and I watch, over and over again because when verified and approved, they hold intrinsic value to local communities that depend on water from the river as their source for home and livestock.

You see, when it rains in the village, there is alot of silt flowing from upstream, thus muddying the water.

Communities do harvest rain water, though it is never enough for the season.

They are left with only 2 options.

1. Drink muddy water

2. Travel longer distances in search of Wells that are not affected by the silt. Consumes much more time and its back breaking work.

That why such innovations can contribute positively to lives and livelihoods of communities.

Hit or miss?
