解説
ドルビーデジタルやDTSでのマルチチャンネル再生用に開発されたセンタースピーカー。
DS-C1000ZVはセンタースピーカー用としてヴォイシング帯域の再生を重点におきつつ、ZXシリーズとの音色を揃えて設計されています。
低域には16cmのコーン型ウーファーを2個搭載しています。
振動板にはアラミッドクロス振動板を採用しておりZXシリーズとの音質的な統一を実現しています。この振動板では軽量で高剛性かつ適度な内部損失を持つ有機繊維アラミッドを使用しており、従来は成形性や気密性の面から用いられていたエポキシ樹脂などのバインダーを2層構造としたことで排除し、軽量化に成功しています。また、アラミッドの持つ大きな内部損失の特長を活かすことができ、固有音の低減効果も向上しています。
また、ダブルウーファーシステムとすることで振動面積を確保し、優れたパワーレスポンスを得ています。
高域には2.5cmドーム型ツィーターを搭載しています。
振動板にはボロン化チタンを採用しています。これはチタンにボロンを拡散させることで極めて高い比弾性率を実現したもので、この素材の優れた特長を活かすため、ボイスコイルボビンと振動板を一体構造としたDUD構造を採用し、ハイスピードでクリアな高域再生を可能にしています。
エンクロージャーはバスレフ方式を採用しています。
前面のバスレフポートは付属のダクトダンパーで塞ぐ事ができ、低域の音質調整が可能です。
別売りでチルト機構を備えた専用スタンドがありました。
このスタンドでは試聴ポイントと画面との距離などにあわせてスピーカーの角度を水平～25゜までの4段階に調節できます。
