For those who are concerned about bugs and poor workmanship of KensingtonWorks when using trackballs, and the fact that it is not easily upgraded or improved. I heard that SteerMouse (ver5), a paid application (2,000 yen), is a good alternative. There is a customizable app called TracXcroll. & Question. I've heard that TracXcroll is a customizable app. Answer. I think it would be better to install KnesigntonWorks software and use keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl+↑ or Ctrl+↓ on the open buttons instead of using the scrolling function of the ball.

I've been using Kensington's trackball for a while now, and it recognizes 4 buttons, so you can press the upper right and left buttons at the same time, as well as the lower left button and turn the volume control ring. The Kensington trackball also recognizes the four buttons and allows simultaneous pressing of the upper right and left buttons, as well as volume control by turning the ring while pressing the lower left button.

Of course, I uninstalled KensingtonWorks....

Can you make the controls scroll vertically and horizontally? 01/31/2019 09:58 (over a year ago)

There is something called TracXcroll that can hack the trackball input and customize it to various inputs

There is a TracXcroll.

You can convert the ball input to scrolling input there.

Question.

Thanks for your help, wouldn't it be inconvenient if I want to scroll the screen all at once in excel?

Answer.

You don't need to use the scroll function of the ball.

You can use the KnesigntonWorks software and assign the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+↑ or Ctrl+↓ to an open button.
