How much improvement in productivity and return on investment can be expected by implementing CI/CD tools? Forrester Consulting interviewed four companies that have implemented cloud-native tools.

The companies reported a 50% reduction in time to build and a 50% reduction in time to build.

The science of problem solving (12) --The Science of Problem Solving (12)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

This is the twelfth episode of the "Science of Problem Solving" series.

I have also been sharing my own experiences of failure, "This is how it went wrong (or went right)," as well as my own experiences of the elements that make up a problem.

I have explored "problem solving" by linking my own experiences of failure, "This is how it went wrong (or went right)," with the first four elements that make up a problem.

The five elements that make up a problem

1. decision maker

2. controllable variables

3. uncontrollable variables

4. constraints

5. outcome

The relationship between the elements 1-5 can be expressed in a few words.

Problem solving is a process in which we, the "decision makers" (1.), work under certain "constraints" (4.) to solve problems that are beyond our control (3.).

The problem solving is based on the premise that we, "1. decision makers," under certain "4. constraints," are affected by "2. controllable variables" and "5.

Under the assumption that "2. controllable variables" and "5. results" are affected by "3.

The result is to derive the causal relationship by selecting the optimal value of "2.

It's a bit long, but all five elements should be connected on the text. In this case, we will focus on the last element, "5.

In this article, I would like to discuss the last element, "5.

I would like to examine how to solve problems based on the "cause-and-effect" relationship between cause and effect, based on my own experiences of failure.

The iPhone 13 mini is now "one yen" for the burden, a cheap price that I confirmed by buying it with my own money.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The "iPhone 13 mini is only ³". Recently, we often see posters like this at electronics

I have often seen such posters at electronics retail stores. In some cases, the price is 1 yen, in other cases 23 yen, 24 yen, and so on.

In some cases, the amount is ¥23, ¥24, etc. Some posters state "the total amount to be paid" instead of "the amount to be paid by the customer.

Some posters indicate "total amount to be paid" instead of the amount to be borne by the customer. There are some differences in the content, but the price is still extremely low.

There are also many tweets posted on social networking sites (SNS), informing which stores were selling at a discount.

The iPhone 13 mini is the first iPhone 13 mini to be sold in the U.S. by Apple (Apple Inc.).

The iPhone 13 mini was released by Apple in September 2021. Screen

size is 5.4 inches, the smallest in the iPhone 13 series, but it is equipped with the latest processor "A15 Bionic".

The performance of this model is comparable to other models.

As of the time of writing (February 14, 2022), the cheapest 128GB model is priced at

The cheapest model with 128GB is priced at 86,800 yen (including tax) at Apple Store, and 98,000 yen at NTT DoCoMo, KDDI (au), and SoftBank online shops.

The latest model was already priced at ¥98,208 to ¥101,520. How is it possible that the latest models are already discounted?

What in the world does it mean that the latest models are already discounted? To solve the mystery, the author visited a major electronics retailer in Tokyo in early February 2022.

The author went to a major electronics retail store in Tokyo in early February 2022 to find out the mystery.

A Prescription for Leaders Who Find It Harder to Scold by Text Chat

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Here's a problem in the field that we'll cover in this issue.

Project Leader's Worries at a Systems Integrator

With the Corona disaster, project teams are communicating more than ever via text chat.

communication has become the main method of communication. What is troubling is that members of the team have been missing intradepartmental reports and

When a member makes a minor mistake, such as omitting a departmental report or delaying a procedure, how should we scold or warn them?

How do I scold or warn them? If it is a serious mistake, we hold an online meeting individually.

If it is not a serious mistake, we have an individual online meeting, but if it is not, we mostly use chat rooms for efficiency. I don't know if it is intentional or not, but

I don't know if it is intentional or not, but I have noticed that messages I have scolded or cautioned

I don't know if it is intentional or not, but there are times when a member does not read or respond to a message I scold or warn them about. Whenever this happens

I may have made them more depressed than necessary by using harsh expressions," or "I was upset because of some circumstances.

I am nervous because I think "I may have depressed them more than I should have" or "They may be angry because of the situation.

I am still scolding them for even the slightest thing. Should I verbally scold or warn them about even the smallest things?

I am nervous because I think that he might be upset because he was upset about something.
