A "torturous sauna" in Japan is not half bad. It was not "toto" or anything like that. Comment: I guess it's important to have a seasoned aide, but I hear thermotherapy is good for cancer, so it sounds like it could work for cancer too!

Saunas are designed to condition the body and mind through repeated water baths and rest periods. Now on Twitter, a much stronger style of sauna that exists in Japan is becoming a hot topic of conversation.

The topic of conversation is whether or not this is a sauna. ......

Sauna with too much impact

I went to a sauna which is not so good. No, I don't know if this is really a sauna or some kind of ritual, but I was covered with a sack, put in a stone kiln like an incinerator, and endured until I heard a voice. It's not like I'm going to be called to the hospital or anything. I'm glad I made it back in one piece," commented Twitter user Afromance, who posted a description of the sauna he experienced.

The image of being covered with a sack and taken into a blazing fire is so shocking that one would believe it even if one were told that one was about to be tortured.... By the way, this sauna exists in "Best Power Land Onyukamisashi" in Isahaya City, Nagasaki.

■ Shocked by "torture" and "too bad

The internet was shocked by Afromance's post, with comments such as "This is too bad," "This is Japan...," "Too scary," "The picture is outrageous," and "Is it torture? Many people were shocked.

Many others commented that it was the last scene in "Midsummer" or "Dark Souls...," comparing it to other movies that have similar scenes.

The temperature of the sauna is a whopping 120 degrees Celsius!

The sauna was so shocking that we wondered what brought them to the sauna. The reporter asked Mr. Afromance, who explained, "I was invited by Mr. Kanazawa, the representative of "Kyushu to Sauna," a group of sauna freaks who are promoting Kyushu's sauna culture to make Kyushu a sauna mecca, and we went together.

On the way there, he said he was quite freaked out as he headed there, as talk of "feeling like a sinner" and "it wouldn't be surprising if there were a few people missing there" ensued.

The temperature in the sauna, which is like a stone kiln, is a whopping 120 degrees Celsius. And because it is an open fire, people are very close to each other, and some people even shouted "It's hot! I heard that some people shouted, "It's so hot! The temperature of a typical sauna is 80 to 100°C, so you can understand how amazing it is.

And although there is a water bath, as is standard in saunas, an employee warned the guests, "If you take a cold water bath after warming up, your heart will stop! I heard that he was warned by an employee, "If you take a cold water bath after warming up, your heart will stop! Maybe this is a training...

Domestic Crazy Journey

As for the difference between the sauna and a typical sauna that he experienced, he said, "First of all, it's not like a toto-no or anything. It's more like the heat is used to release various things. It's an extraordinary feeling, like you've wandered into a strange world.

At the end of the interview, when we asked Mr. Afromance to sum up the sauna, he said, "When you have an extraordinary experience, you often say, 'I don't want to go back to reality,' but the impact was so strong that I felt flustered and unable to return to reality even if I wanted to. Rather than feeling good, I was left with an unprocessable feeling of 'what was that all about...? It was truly a domestic crazy journey".

With its mysterious charm, the sauna is said to have many repeat customers. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, you should visit the sauna....
